Where in NY do most Italians from Italy live

Where in NY do most Italians from Italy live?
Hey guys, I was in Astoria for the first time this week and I saw many Italians who seemed to have moved to the US from Italy. I didnt know Astoria had such a great Italian presence. Where In NY are most Italian immigrants, excluding Italian Americans? Thanks!

Little Italy

Astoria is mostly Greek and most of Manhattan does not have any ethnic areas left. I would say certain parts of the Bronx near Aurthers Ave and also certain parts of Brooklyn would be where most "off the boat" italians live.

Bensonhurst/Bay Ridge, Brooklyn Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn (wealthier folks) Arthur Avenue and Bedford, Bronx BTW, it's odd to exclude folks born there from the category "Italian Americans."

I've seen a lot of Italians around my neighbourhood --Sheepshead Bay in Brooklyn and Gerritsen, and perhaps Forest Hills in Queens.
