we are a young family having financial difficulties, what would be in the best interest of the baby. both my husband and I are unemployed, i have better chances for work in USA, his parents smoke mine don't, i think even for work in her future america is a little simpler to find work and education is free and college she can have financial aid, but italy has free health care.

It depends on what it is you want in your babies life. America is probably a more stable country but I would chose Italy because I like the Europeen lifestyle.

If Italy has free health care than I would suggest you go and live there.

Howdy y'all. How can any country come close to the good ol' US of A? I mean, what have the Romans ever done for us? Take soccer for instance - in fact take it as far as you can away from here and give it to the rest of the world for all I care. We'll show you what a real World Series is like. And them little eye-talian cars, them Feeyats and Alfalfas; why I can only fit one of my butt cheeks into them! And where do I put my goddam Big Gulp and a Double Whopper? Give me a Hummer any day. And don't start me on culture. They may have fancy schmancy opera, but we got our own grand ol' opry aint you know? Still, at least they gave us pizza, even though we had to ditch them sissy boy thin crust margherita ones and make real pizzas with inch thick dough, 27 types of meat and 16 cheeses all on the one deep-fried base. U-S-A ! U-S-A ! Seriously though, it depends on what lifestyle you eventually want to create for yourself. Italy will provide a richer life experience, and America a more comfortable one. A tough call and one for which I wish you the best of luck.

Things are tough all over right now. Most countries are being flooded with folks looking for work. I am biased, so I would say the US. But Italy is a nice place. So really, either choice has its merits. You can't really go wrong with either choice.
