next week and I would like to know from any pregnant woman if in the States you do the 12th week ultrasound like here to check the nuchal translucency to detect Down syndrome or any malformations.....thank you!

it is done at 16 weeks pregnant here but yes.

Yes, mine was done at 11 weeks and a few days..As long as they dont do it too late they will be able to see and measure the neck. I am not getting an ultrasound at 12 weeks. My next one is at 20 and my last one was at 7. We heard the heartbeat at 12.
