I'm a british citizen... can I live in Italy or do I need a visa?
I am a british citizen and I live in the USA on a greencard. I want to live in Italy for a year. Do I need a visa to move there? I'm not sure what countries in Europe I can live in anymore with my British citizenship.

you don't need a visa btw just remember to file a US tax return

you can live in any country that's a member of the EU, just as they can live in the UK. if you think you're going to be outside of the US for over 12 months, be sure to apply for a re-entry permit with USCIS before you go. If you're out more than 12 months at a time, you put your US greencard status at risk and you may not be able to return.

You can live, work and study without a visa in any of the EEA countries plus Switzerland. Here is the list. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply/infs/inf18eeaswissnationals#Q1 Here's information fo EU citizens moving to another EU country. http://ec.europa.eu/youreurope/nav/en/citizens/living/before-moving/index.html
