I'm Egyptian, i have Foreigners' permit of stay in Italy< i would like to go to UK for a few days and i need to know if its possible for me to enter the country with this documents ( italian ID + the permit of stay) or i need to have my Egyptian passport with me?! Is entering in England the same as any other european country?! thx for ur help....

No you can't enter other EU countries as if you were an EU citizen. Because all you have is a permit for Italy that all. But you still a Egyptian citizen therefore you need a visa to visit each of the EU countries that includes the UK. That permit you have is just for Italy. Until you get Italian citizenship you free to travel anywhere within the EU

You carry an Egyptian passport you need a visa, period.
